(Or rather, there are a lot of overseas viewers today.)

 

I think such a thing while looking at the comment section.

 

According to Yusuke, I am given the nickname Dungeon Samurai overseas.

 

The growth of the translation channel is tremendous, and it seems to be gaining momentum, surpassing 2 million subscribers.

 

Since the translation channel went viral, I’ve been fortunate enough to have more overseas viewers coming to my main stream and commenting.

 

But even so, the majority of comments on my regular streams are in Japanese.

 

There is a time difference between overseas and Japan.

 

Therefore, even if the translation channel has the same number of subscribers as my main channel, there shouldn’t be a significantly higher number of overseas viewers commenting in English on my stream.

 

… Until now.

 

(Twenty percent… no, maybe about thirty percent of the comments are in English… Has there ever been something like this before?)

 

However, on this particular day, my stream had an unusually high number of overseas viewers.

 

Between twenty and thirty percent of the comment section is now filled with English comments.

 

I don’t understand what they’re saying, but I somehow feel like they’re greeting me.

 

Even Japanese viewers seem slightly perplexed by the unusual atmosphere in the comment section.

 

“There are a lot of overseas viewers today…”

 

“A lot of English comments are flowing lol. I don’t understand what they’re saying lol.”

 

“Have there always been this many overseas viewers…?”

 

“Hey, this is a Japanese stream!! Comment in Japanese!!”

 

“Someone who can speak English, translate it lol.”

 

“Is this because it’s Tuitche? There are so many overseas viewers.”

 

What could be the reason for so many overseas viewers coming to my stream?

 

Could it be because of the different platform?

 

I heard that Tuitche is the leading streaming site overseas, unlike in Japan.

 

… But why would they watch my stream when they don’t understand the language?

 

(I feel a bit nervous…)

 

Though I’m slightly more nervous than usual, I proceed to conquer the lower levels as usual.

 

There’s no need to do live commentary in English, right?

 

“Kamiki-san, it seems like you’re being mirrored by a famous streamer called XQD.”

 

“Eh, mirrored!?”

 

Suddenly, a comment catches my attention, and I instinctively stop to read it.

 

Mirroring… commonly known as a mirror.

 

It is the act of streaming someone else’s content on your own stream and is considered a violation of terms of service on Tube.

 

“Is mirroring allowed on Tuitche?”

 

“Tuitche allows mirroring.”

 

“I usually watch Tuitche, and mirroring is common here.”

 

“There’s even a mechanism for raiding, forcibly streaming your viewers to someone else’s stream.”

 

“Mirroring is not against the terms of service on Tuitche. In fact, it’s encouraged.”

 

“Oh, I see. So mirroring is allowed on this site.”

 

It seems that mirroring is not prohibited on Tuitche, unlike Tube.

 

“Why would they mirror me?”

 

I’m just a rookie who came to this site today.

 

Usually, mirroring is something done between close streamers, right?

 

“Really! A streamer named XQD with fifty thousand concurrent viewers is mirroring you.”

 

“It seems like this guy XQD is mirroring you, and his viewers are coming over.”

 

“These overseas viewers are probably the viewers of the streamer who is mirroring you.”

 

“XQD, you say?”

 

A streamer with an interesting name.

 

… It seems that, judging by the comments, this XQD Tuitche streamer is mirroring my stream.

 

Thanks to that, viewers from his stream seem to be flowing into mine.

 

“I appreciate it. Thank you very much.”

 

I don’t know if my gratitude will get across, but I say thank you just in case.

 

Apparently, the reason why my concurrent viewers are unusually high today is thanks to this XQD streamer.

 

I don’t know why XQD is mirroring me, but in the sense that I’ve been given the opportunity to be seen by many people, it’s genuinely appreciated.

 

“This is just trolling, isn’t it?”

 

“Don’t comment in English!! Use Japanese!!”

 

“Captain!! XQD’s viewers are attacking!! Can we go over there and cause chaos!?”

 

“Captain!! We’ll go over there and flood them with Japanese comments!!”

 

“Stop it. Causing trouble is not allowed.”

 

My enthusiastic viewers, considering English comments as trolling, are gathering allies to disrupt the other stream.

 

I hastily warned them that causing trouble is not acceptable.

 

It’s only my first day here, and if my bad reputation spreads on Tuitche, what will happen?

 

“Captain!! There are already people over there spamming Japanese comments and causing trouble!!”

 

“I checked their stream, and it’s already a mess. LOL.”

 

“They’re already causing chaos over there. LOL.”

 

“XQD seems really surprised. LOL.”

 

“Is there already someone causing trouble!? Wait, stop it… Whoa!?”

 

“Grrrrr…!!”

 

A low growl nearby startles me.

 

It seems that, while distracted by the comment section, I allowed the Dungeon Bear to approach.

 

“Grrrr…!!”

 

“Shut up! I can’t deal with you right now…!!”

 

I dispose of the annoying Dungeon Bear with a swift slash.

 

“Woahhh!? What just happened!?”

 

“What the hell!?”

 

“What was that just now!?”

 

“It got cut as if a shockwave went through!?”

 

“The reach of the sword clearly seemed insufficient. What happened!?”

 

“How did he defeat it!? Did he use ninja techniques!?”

 

“Is this real!?”

 

“Unbelievable!! I can’t believe it!”

 

“He’s like a real samurai!!”

 

Immediately after I dispatched the Dungeon Bear, a tsunami of English comments floods the chat.

 

What’s going on?

 

I don’t quite understand what they’re saying, but it’s clear they are amazed.

 

I’m just exploring the dungeon as usual, so what part touched a nerve with them?

 

“Overseas viewers seem surprised. ^^”

 

“They’re really surprised, lol.”

 

“These guys are kinda cute, lol.”

 

“They’re probably feeling the same excitement we felt when we first saw Kamiki, lol.”

 

“Hey, overseas viewers. If you watch this guy’s stream too much, you won’t be satisfied with other dungeon streams, you know?”

 

The comment section is a mix of surprised English comments from overseas viewers and Japanese comments laughing at their reactions.

 

…This chaos in the comment section seems to be fine in its own way.
