Chapter 1 - Prologue

In a world where dungeons exist, the first thing bestowed upon those who step foot into one is their Job. Jobs are broadly categorized into combat and production roles. In an era where dungeon exploration thrives, combat-oriented Jobs are favored over production ones, as they offer items surpassing those crafted by production Jobs using dungeon drop materials.

Aoi, upon entering a dungeon for the first time in her first year of middle school, was bestowed with the Job of “Alchemist” and the skill of “Alchemy.” Unfortunately, Aoi, who was neither physically nor temperamentally inclined towards combat, never became absorbed in dungeon exploration. However, her long-standing hobby of crafting led her to immerse herself in handmade goods using “Alchemy.”

A fortunate aspect for Aoi was the existence of the website “Dungeon Shop,” where individuals could buy and sell dungeon materials and items. Without it, Aoi, an ordinary person, would not have been able to obtain dungeon materials or sell crafted goods.

Aoi primarily engages in made-to-order production, receiving requests from customers via messages for anything beyond simple items. Therefore, she remains relatively unrecognized within the “Dungeon Shop.” Nonetheless, she has a small base of regular customers who frequently message her.

Seiran: “Aoi~, can you prepare 50 potions by tomorrow? Our idiots messed up inventory management again, and we’re short.”

Aoi: “Seiran-san… again? My main focus is on cute accessories. Potions are beyond my specialty.”

Seiran: “Don’t say that. The potions you make are the most effective.”

Aoi: “Even if you insist… sigh, I understand, I’ll make them. Should I send them via teleportation courier?”

Seiran: “Aoi~ thank you! Love you!!”

Aoi: “Next time, please help me test a new product.”

Seiran: “Leave it to me! I’ll have my members try it too!”

“… Honestly, Seiran-san sometimes says unreasonable things, which is troublesome. And to begin with, does Seiran-san’s guild have that many members to need 50 potions?”

Seiran has been Aoi’s most loyal customer since Aoi started the “Dungeon Shop.” While she sometimes makes unreasonable requests like this one, she appreciates Aoi’s products, which is why Aoi tends to comply with her unreasonable requests.

“Well then, I have to make 50 potions by tomorrow… It’s fortunate that tomorrow is my day off.”

Aoi sets out to make the potions.

Having sent the message, Seiran Takana releases a sigh of relief.

She is well aware that her request was unreasonable, and even with the kind-hearted Aoi, the possibility of rejection was high.

“My lady Seiran, did you receive a reply from ‘The Azure Alchemist’?”

“It’s okay. Thank goodness. Tomorrow is the ‘Hell Dragon Helledrago’ raid, and we’re short on potions… it’s just…”

“Urgent requests have piled up suddenly, so it can’t be helped. Moreover, to be able to produce 50 top-tier potions by tomorrow truly shows the prowess of ‘The Azure Alchemist.’ Our in-house alchemist can only manage a few at best.”

“That’s true. Besides, Aoi’s potions have better performance! I really want Aoi to join our guild, but…”

“No matter how many times I ask, Aoi won’t agree. For her, handmade creations are just a hobby.”

“By refusing our offer, does it mean she’s involved with other guilds?”

“Not exactly… it’s not like that. Let’s ask again after tomorrow’s raid!”

Seiran attempts to recruit Aoi several times, but Aoi never agrees. For her, handmade creations are simply a hobby.
