“Ferris-chan! I can’t believe it, but you haven’t brought a princess into your room, have you!?” 

As soon as she entered the dormitory room, Lotte-sensei asked straightforwardly. 

“Um, well, you see… uwawawa…” 

Ferris, looking suspicious and trembling, stammered. Next to her, on the bed, a lump under the blanket was shaking and moving. Clearly, there was something there. 

“Se-sensei! There was a part in the history of magic textbook on page 52 that I didn’t understand!” 

“Don’t change the subject! Ferris-chan, you’re really bad at deception…”

With teary eyes, Ferris opened her arms in front of the lump on the bed, but Lotte-sensei mercilessly pulled off the blanket. 

“…Oh my. I’ve been found.” 

From under the blanket emerged Princess Rosetta, looking unfazed and somewhat bewildered. 

“Your Highness!! What are you doing!?” 

Lotte-sensei shouted. 

“Playing hide and seek?” 

Princess Rosetta tilted her head. 

“We haven’t received any communication from the royal palace. Your Highness, you didn’t secretly come alone, did you…?” 

“It’s okay.” 

“It’s not okay! If Your Highness gets injured, it will be a big fuss!”
